Eco Manifesto

All of Rachel Fowler’s designs have a story behind them.  This first collection reflects my love of the Far East, particularly Japan and its cultural heritage.  All designs are beautifully hand-drawn and hand-painted in the United Kingdom.  My wallpaper is made to order, minimising wastage.

I operate a paperless brochure system, this is downloadable from my website and eliminates the need to print pattern books.

Designing for the Wellbeing of the Planet and Mankind

I am proud to announce that all my wallpapers are manufactured on eco-friendly, biodegradable non-woven wallpaper.  The paper is non-coated and plastic free.  It comprises:

99% renewable raw materials

Renewable cellulose (wood pulp) fibres,

Renewable PLA (plant derived thermoplastic) fibres

Renewable binder. 

The wallpaper is forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified and is biodegradable.   Water based inks are used throughout.  My wallpaper has a great look and feel and all of my packaging is recyclable. All rolls are 52cm wide 10m lengths.

Manufacturing

The energy used in the manufacturing of my wallpaper is 100% renewable and manufactured within the UK.
